Job description
We are currently seeking a Cabinet Touch Up Tech that is self-motivated, creative, talented and has great customer service and craftsmanship skills to join our family. The main responsibility of this position is to service custom cabinets in a safe, high quality, productive and profitable manner. The ideal candidate needs to demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction and be able to communicate what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Service already constructed custom cabinets to include door adjustments and touch-ups on factory finish
• Install kitchen and bath cabinetry crown molding, shoe mold, trim and other misc. moldings, ensuring all cabinets are level and installed securely
• Retro-construct cabinets based upon client’s needs; for example, but not limited to:
• False-front to drawer and vice-versa
• Kitchen sink to Farm sink
• Re-skin inside of cabinets
• Remove/install rails, stiles, mullions, toe kick/sweep,
Skills:
• Good manual dexterity
• Good physical strength; ability to lift and hold 50 lbs.
• Great attention to detail; Visualizes concepts effectively; Well organized
• Reads blueprints, diagrams and floor plans properly
• Experience with hand/power tools related to cabinet construction
Key Qualifications
Experience:
- Cabinet Touch Up or Relevant
- Experience: 2 years (REQUIRED)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Preferred)
- Previous cabinet service/installation experience required; construction experience an asset
- Valid driver license and acceptable MVR a must.
Available/Pay
- Full time Monday-Friday, plus some weekends and required overtime.
- Pay $ $30.00 per hour
- Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
