Job Summary:
We are seeking several skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Builders to join our team. The Cabinet Builder will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing high-quality cabinets and custom woodworking projects according to specifications. This role requires expertise in woodworking techniques, precision craftsmanship, and the ability to work with various tools and materials to deliver durable and aesthetically pleasing products.
We are seeking several skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Builders to join our team. The Cabinet Builder will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and finishing high-quality cabinets and custom woodworking projects according to specifications. This role requires expertise in woodworking techniques, precision craftsmanship, and the ability to work with various tools and materials to deliver durable and aesthetically pleasing products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, laminates, and other materials to build cabinets and related structures.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, including saws, routers, sanders, and drills, safely and efficiently.
- Install hardware such as hinges, knobs, and drawer slides with accuracy.
- Sand, stain, and finish cabinets to achieve a polished, professional appearance.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Collaborate with team members, designers, or clients to refine designs and address custom requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Builder, Carpenter, or similar role in woodworking.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and materials.
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and lift materials as needed.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking or carpentry is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with custom cabinetry or furniture making.
- Familiarity with finishing techniques (e.g., staining, painting, or varnishing).
- Knowledge of modern design trends in cabinetry and interiors.
- Fluent Spanish is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Full-time position in a workshop or manufacturing setting.
- May involve standing for extended periods and working with dust, noise, and machinery.
- Safety equipment (e.g., goggles, gloves) provided and required.
Compensation:
