Position Overview

We are hiring an Experienced Paint & Tint Mixer who will also serve as a Delivery Driver for our finished cabinets. Primary duties are in our Madison finishing department mixing and matching paint, stain, glaze, and toner/tint formulas. Secondary duties include driving our box truck to deliver cabinets to job sites. No cabinet installation required.

Key Responsibilities

Paint & Tint Mixing / Finishing (Primary Role)
  • Accurately mix custom paint, stain, glaze, toner, and tint formulas using computerized tinting systems and manual techniques
  • Perform precise color/tint matching from customer samples, photos, or existing pieces
  • Operate tint dispensers and shaking equipment
  • Apply primers, paints, stains, clear coats, and specialty finishes (spray, wipe, brush)
  • Maintain inventory of paints, tints, stains, thinners, and related materials
  • Keep tint mixing station, paint booth, and work area clean and organized
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs on finished cabinets
Delivery Driver (Secondary Role As Needed)
  • Safely load, secure, and transport cabinets using company 26-ft box truck (lift gate equipped)
  • Deliver on schedule to residential and commercial job sites
  • Unload and stage cabinets in designated area
  • Professional customer/builder communication
  • Complete delivery paperwork and photos

Requirements

  • 3+ years professional experience as a paint/tint mixer in cabinetry, furniture, automotive, or paint store environment (required)
  • Strong proven color and tint matching skills
  • Experience with automated tinting machines a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record
  • Comfortable driving 26-ft box truck (no CDL needed)
  • Ability to lift 75lbs+ repeatedly
  • Local to Madison/Huntsville area (no relocation)
  • Pass background check and drug screen
No cabinet installation experience required.
